The Yakima SKS Lock Cores are a pretty popular add on for the Yakima range of racks. SKS stands for "same key system" so you can make it quick and easy unlock and get riding. These cores enable you to lock all of your Yakima products with just one key. Depending on how many racks you have you can choose 2 or 4 kit options.

    Excellent product

    Excellent product. Easy to fit.

    I bought a second hand vehicle and the previous owner had lost the roof rack keys so I did some research, ordered these new locks and keys and everything is perfect.

    Does it’s job well

    Cheapest I could find online, fits simply in my Yakima hitch mounted rack and took mounted rack. Removing an old lock core from a rack I bought second hand without a key was also simple (noting that it needs to be in the unlocked position - probably very difficult if it was in the locked position)
