MTB Direct offers eligible customers a discounted tyre replacement if a Maxxis tyre is damaged through trail use or an accident within 30 days of purchase.
This is a crash replacement programme, not a product guarantee or warranty. It does not cover manufacturing faults (see our separate Warranty Policy for those) and does not provide a refund.
What's Covered
- Maxxis tyres purchased from MTB Direct that are damaged through normal trail use or an accidental incident (e.g. cuts, punctures, sidewall tears from trail debris) within 30 days of the original purchase date.
- Replacement is for the same tyre (identical model, size, and compound) as originally purchased.
- Replacement tyre is offered at 50% off current RRP.
What's Not Covered
- Manufacturing defects — these are handled under our standard Maxxis warranty process, not this programme.
- Claims made more than 30 days after the original purchase date.
- Tyres not originally purchased from MTB Direct.
Eligibility Requirements
To make a claim, you'll need:
- Proof of purchase: your MTB Direct order number, matched to a purchase date within the last 30 days.
- The damaged tyre identifiable as the originally purchased item (model/size visible on the sidewall).
How to Claim
- Contact our team with your order number and a description and photographic evidence of the damage.
- Our team will confirm the purchase falls within the 30-day window.
- Once approved, a 50%-off discount code for the same tyre will be applied to a new order.
General Conditions
- Limit of one claim per tyre, per customer, within the 30-day window.
- This programme provides a discounted replacement only, no cash refunds will be issued.
- MTB Direct reserves the right to decline a claim where damage is assessed as resulting from misuse, or aftermarket modification, at our reasonable discretion.
- MTB Direct reserves the right to amend or withdraw this programme at any time; changes will not affect claims already approved.
