DUB technology provides incredible stiffness and durability due to the relationship between bottom bracket spindle and bearing. SRAM have simplified the system by improving chainring, crank, spindle and bottom bracket relationship, resulting in better drivetrain performance.

DUB (Durable, Unifying Bottom Bracket) technology features improved seals to reduce contamination and a more uniformed approach to bottom bracket fitment, resulting in a forward and backward compatible system, plus the X-Sync 2 Direct Mount chainrings that keep the chain securely in place and provide better self-cleaning in muddy conditions.
