Take Eagle Transmission to the next level with your entry point to the AXS ecosystem of wirelessly connected components. Designed to make upgrading from mechanical to wireless as simple as possible, the GX Eagle Transmission Upgrade Kit includes an AXS-enabled derailleur body, AXS battery, battery charger and AXS Pod Controller. Simply remove the cage assembly and mount bolt from your mechanical Eagle 90 or Eagle 70 rear derailleur, and reinstall on the new GX Eagle Transmission rear derailleur body. An included Eagle T-Type PowerLock gives you peace of mind when re-installing the chain.

What SRAM Eagle drivetrain is compatible with the GX Eagle AXS Transmission Upgrade Kit?

You can use the GX Eagle AXS Transmission Upgrade Kit to upgrade mechanical SRAM Eagle 70 or 90 Transmission drivetrains into a wireless system. The kit is not backward compatible with older, non-Transmission mechanical Eagle 1x12 drivetrains. It requires your bike to have a Universal Derailleur Hanger (UDH) and uses a new derailleur body that attaches to the existing cage assembly from your mechanical derailleur.
