Description

Securely carry up to 6 bikes with no bike on bike crime with the T2 Tailgate pad from Raceface. This may very well be the most advanced option out there and it has a whole bunch of features designed to enhance the fit on the vehicle and maximise the safety of the bikes. Not only that, but the pad has an adjustable rear panel that allows it to easily be adapted to any rear camera or handle position.

Who's this item for: Suitable for anyone with a ute that wants to carry a bunch of bikes. It's available in two different sizes to suit different sized vehicles.

How many bikes does it carry: The Mid pad is suitable for Hilux sized utes and can carry up to 5 bikes. The Full is for large American style pickups such as the Ford F-150, or F-350 and can carry up to 6 bikes.

Tailgate handle cutout: Yes there is a rear panel that can be adjusted to suit most handle and rear camera positions.

  • Mid Size : 131cm wide, 48cm rear overhang.
  • Full Size : 149cm wide, 56cm rear overhang.

Materials: PVC tarpaulin with micro-brushed inner lining

Any Special Features: The top edge has 6 adjustment straps to provide a tailored fit to your tailgate's shape, even if it's curved. Adjustable rear camera panel. Raised bumpers keep the downtubes secure, minimising bike on bike contact while shuttling.

    Not as good as old Raceface Pad

    I had the first version of the Race Face tailgate pad, it lasted 5 years and was really good.

    Rhis doesn't have as good padding where the downturn sits and didn't have pads to separate the bikes like the old one did.

    Pretty not bad aye, recommend for sure!

    Soooooo bloody easy to install and adjust. Can have it on in less than 5mins and takes 5sec to strap a bike on and head out for a good time.

    The top/middle section of the pad has a pretty not bad adjustment for different thickness tailgates which is ultra super good.

    Hasn't left a mark on any bikes I've had on so far and no signs of early wear on the pad itself.

    Bloody uhmed and arrghed about buying one for ages, very happy with me choice and I'll never do it any other way.

    Great protection for bike and trail gate

    Bought this tail gate pad to replace a 4 year old one that the straps had let go on for the last time. It fits a Ford Ranger great, allows use of the reserve camera and covered a lot of the trail gate from potential damage.

    It took a little time to get it to sit right but you must watch the install video as this help.

    Nice inclusions with this pad are two strap extenders to allow you to also hold the larger E Bike down tubes

    Pros - trail gate protection, bike holding and design

    Cons - compared to the Dakine the bikes are a little closer together, can take a little time to get the fit just right when installing.

    Max padding and protection

    Best tailgate pad around, easy to fit with max protection for my truck and bikes. Purchasing process and delivery was quick and easy.

    Great but not for that price tag.

    I had an older version of this pad that was perfect and lasted a huge amount of use. The new version is a poorer quality and not worth the price tag. Shorter and bikes don't sit as easily on the back as I had hoped.
