Bought the wrong size, so I gave them away. New owner says they’re doing what they’re supposed to.

Great product, cheap, fit well and tough

Air Bags for your Carbon Crank Arms

by -

Quick and easy to fit, these provide convenient and solid protection for the end of the crank. In this world of low bottom brackets, pedal strikes can be pretty common. This is mostly fine for your burly pedal, but not so fine for your lovely, shiny and expensive carbon cranks. Fear not, Race Face has created these for peice of mind and they are pretty cheap, so why wouldn't you? They are yet another opportunity to add custom colour to your ride, and fit cranks other than Race Face. I have fitted these to some E*Thirteen cranks in the photo, but heaps of others besides. Get on it carbon crank people.

Since purchasing the first pair

Since purchasing the first pair many years ago, they have been on every set of cranks since.. There is no reason not to run these, they protect your crank arms from rock strikes like nothing else.. Highly recommended..

I didnt realise theres different

I didnt realise theres different sizes so i got the large and im guessing need mediums. Put them on anyway to see if they actually worked and so far they have. They show signs of impacts but havent started to come apart so im pretty happy bar my poor research skills and getting wrong size been a good buy

Brought these to protect my

Brought these to protect my nice new shiny carbon cranks. I learnt the hard way that carbon cranks will easily grind down even just after a few rock. These are a must have!
