Machined from solid 6061 T6 aluminium, this stem has been rigorously tested by EFBE and passed TRI-TEST® GR, with certification for enduro, freeride, and downhill mountain bikes. Handlebar clamps are to be tightened with no gap on top. All stems have max torque specs etched onto the stem body. Note that max torque specs are just that, a maximum rating. For most purposes, 5-6nm should be adequate.
