I bought this tool as it featured remove and instal function for quick link. I did achieve both tasks..but installing is a little fiddly. As the product shipped attached to the packaging via the pivot bolt, removing the nut was required . This not the perfect packaging solution as the recoil sprin escaped in the process. The usability of the tool can be compromised by over torquing the pivot bolt....if it were my company, I would not demand the customer get this right for the tool to function correctly. Not a bad tool, but if Park made a dual purpose link plier...I would buy that one !

since getting 12 sp, and since I wax and therefore reuse joiners many times, I have found these helpful in getting a cleaner close which prolongs the life of the joiners
