Description

Low-Temperature Formula
Squirt's unique chain lubricant properties is now available in a special Low-Temperature formula specifically designed to withstand the harsh conditions of winter riding. Just like the standard Squirt, Low-Temp contains waxes and water in emulsion form that stays clean, lasts long and extends drive train life. Squirt Low-Temp is only available in 120ml bottle.

Bottles of Low-Temp, like Standard Squirt should always be kept above freezing. Once the lube has been applied and is dry, temperature will not effect the performance.

A must have for Tas winter riding

It flows on the coldest of mornings into the chain links to kepp the chain running smooth and quiet.

The best biodegradable lube - but a bit finicky to use

This stuff works very well - keeps the chain running smoothly & quietly - and doesn't pick up much dirt, dust etc. I live in Hobart - and have found the normal Squirt lube worked well in summer, but takes too long to dry in winter. This low-temp version is faster drying - but still slow in winter.

It has 5 star performance, but is only 3 stars (or less) in terms of convenience - so have awarded 4 stars. The lube itself goes on better when it's room temp or above (say 16 degrees) so I can't keep it in the garage in winter. It still takes a while to dry - at least 12 hours. So it's not as convenient as a normal lube - you can't decide the chain needs a lube just before you ride.

I've tried a few lubes - this has by far the best performance of the biodegradable ones. It matches my old favourite - RocknRoll Gold for performance but not for convenience - but the Gold is not biodegradable so not as friendly on the local trail water-catchments etc.
