Description

Shimano's XT M8000 Shift Lever Right 11-Speed brings the perfect blend of performance to Shimano's11-speed line up. Taking after it's big brother, XTR, the XT M8000 shifter boasts lighter, smoother shifts and improved ergonomics to provide the ultimate shifting experience.

Thanks to the hyper low-friction coated shift cable and a longer lever body, the XT M8000 provides 20% lighter shifts than it's predecessor. Shimano is known for making some of the most reliable components in the industry and the XT M8000 shifter only improves upon that reputation by consistently ticking off smooth, effortless shifts. Also, to ensure that you don't miss any of those silky smooth gear changes, Shimano added an anti-slip surface to the shift lever for improved grip. So if your current set up shifts like a 1950's farm ute, it's time to upgrade to XT M8000 shifter.

    Excellent shifter. Buy it.

    I replaced my SLX shifter with this shifter and the difference is night and day.

    Where the SLX felt flimsy, with a lot of play, the XT feels solid and snappy with very little play. Upshifting 2 gears at a time is a cherry on top, but even without that feature it is an excellent upgrade.

    Also arrived really quickly as usual. MTB direct are legends.
