Put simply the Shimano XT M786 Shadow Plus Rear Derailleur is designed to take abuse....No matter what the terrain chain slap, dropped chains and missed shifts can be reduced by simply engaging the stabilising switch. This greatly reduces the need for a chain device to keep the tension on the chain.
The strong spring in the M786 means you'll experience smooth, precise shifting.
The RD-M786-SGS Shadow Plus rear derailleur is only compatible with 10-speed Dyna-Sys shifting components.

Max cassette range: 11-36t
Cage length: Available in both GS (medium), and SGS (long) cage options.
