The XT M8120 brakes are the latest edition of the much loved Shimano XT range. Featuring the same Servo-wave lever design as the XTR range, they now come with a taller and flatter lever blade for better ergonomics. The M8120 brakes feature a more inboard clamp position which in turn increases braking efficiency and offers quicker brake engagement. The 4 piston design gives you plenty of power when you need it and the Ice Tech finned brake pads mean the brakes stay cooler under prolonged braking.
Who is this item for: Designed for aggressive trail riding but could be used on anything from an XC bike to an Enduro rig.
How many pistons: These are the 4 piston version.
Materials: The lever is made from anodised aluminium and the caliper also features an aluminium body.

Are the brakes bled? The brake line is capped and the lever plugged and the olive is shipped inside the brake lever. If you don't need to trim your brake lines you can reattach the brake line without the need to bleed your brakes.
Which Pads: They ship with N03A Resin pads (w/ fin) but can take either Shimano N or D series pads.
Mount: They feature a 22.2mm I-Spec EV compatible bar clamp.
Hose Length: Rear: 1700mm Front: 1000mm
Weight: Approximately 301g per brake.
Pros: Shimano 4 piston power! They come with tool-less reach adjustment and are I-Spec EV compatible.
Cons: Do not include adaptors or rotors. These will need to be purchased separately.

Amazing brakes with plenty of power and amazing feel. Only issue lever does feel a little bot flimsy and does bend easily from crashing.
