Description

Shimano Type H brake pads use the same shape as Type D with the addition of cooling fins for better performance on long descents!

Only compatible with the models below.

Compatble with:

  • BR-M820 - Saint
  • BR-M8020 - Deore XT
  • BR-M640 - Zee

Sintered/Metallic:                                                

Pros

  • Less fade at higher temperatures.
  • Perform better in wet conditions.
  • Longer lasting.
  • Better for heavier riders and steeper terrain.

Cons

  • Reduced Initial bite.
  • Can be a bit noisy.

Resin/Organic:
Pros

  • Quiet.
  • Better initial bite.

Cons

  • Tends to wear faster.
  • More prone to glazing under heavy, sustained braking.
  • Performance suffers in wet conditions.
