Description

The TL-BR001 syringe unit is Shimano's new and improved bleed syringe with a handy new metal insert on the hose that provides a guided fitment between the hose and the bleed nipple.

The previous hose design required you to squish the hose over the bleed nipple and the fit was never all that secure which could lead to fluid leakage.

The fit is now simple, secure and precise and the new hose also features a clamp to prevent accidental fluid leakage when not in use.

Why use this: Helps you get all the air out of your Shimano brake system and flush it with fresh mineral oil.

How much can it hold: About 40ml.

Compatibility: All hydraulic Shimano MTB / trekking/road bike disc brakes with one-way bleeding. For use with mineral oil only.

Material: Plastic with metal parts.

    Shimano TL-BR001 Bleed Syringe

    Best tool to bleed your Shimano brakes, don't muck around with cheap quality tools, if your paying for quality components for your bike, have the best tools for maintaining it. Highly rate this Shimano Bleed Syringe

    The value is the valve

    Seems a bit pricey for a branded plastic syringe, but the valve in the tube connects snugly with the bleed port on the caliper. Indeed, it clicks in so snugly that no air seems to leak in, resulting in a far better overall bleed. The brakes are more responsive, with better modulation, than when I used a non-branded system without the connecting valve. For the home mechanic, it's a better outcome!

    Essential for perfect brake bleed.

    Great product to ensure complete bleed of the brake calipers, especially the more problematic rear brake.
