The compact model of the 12-speed Deore XT Hyperglide+ drivetrain offers more ground clearance (an improvement of 23 millimetres) and lighter weight, while still maintaining an excellent 500% gear range, making it an ideal choice for both weight-conscious racers and everyday riders, particularly when paired with the 9-45T cassette. The robust, fast-shifting mid-cage derailleur also features a new cage design and solid pulley that work to better clear out trail debris, so you don't get jammed up.
