Linkglide is Shimano's latest drivetrain system focused on strength, durability and shifting smoothness. Currently available in Deore 10-speed and Deore XT 11-speed drivetrain systems, Linkglide will soon encompass a wider range of drivetrain groupsets and provide smoother and improved pedalling performance during shifting leading to less wear and slower degradation, improving performance across a broader usable lifespan of your drivetrain.
The Deore Series CS-LG400-10 speed cassette is a great choice for high-torque applications such as E-Bikes or any application that requires smooth and precise shifting in both directions under a high chain load. Shimano claims a 300% longer wear resistance over traditional Hyperglide+ drivetrains when used on E-Bikes.
