The Shimano Deore CN-M6100 is a directional 12-speed chain that is optimised to work with Shimano's Hyperglide+ and Dynamic Chain technology. The new design includes extended inner link plates which increase surface area contact between the cassette and chainring. This results in better chain retention and smoother pedalling performance over choppy terrain.
