Description

Bicycle Strength Threadlockers From Park Tool

Threadlockers lock threaded assemblies and keep them from loosening, and if anyone ever tells you that you need to use blue, or red threadlocker, these are the perfect choice to cover every bike-related application.

TLR-1 FEATURES:

  • Blue
  • Medium strength, similar to Loctite 242/243
  • Compatible with steel, aluminium and carbon fibre
  • Oil tolerant
  • Not recommended for titanium threads
  • Full curing time 24hrs
  • Removable with hand tools

TLR-2 FEATURES:

  • Red
  • HIGH STRENGTH, similar to Loctite 262/263
  • Compatible with steel, aluminium and carbon fibre
  • Oil tolerant
  • Not recommended for titanium threads
  • Full curing time 24hrs
  • Requires heat for removal!

Important note: Park Tool AP-1 Adhesive Primer must be used to prep all components, fasteners and carbon fibre surfaces prior to application of Park Tool threadlockers or retaining compound. Failure to do so could result in permanently bonded parts.
