Using steel teardrop-shaped and circular tubing, the PCS-10.3 has been built strong and now features a spring button that prevents the legs from folding once the stand is fully upright, even if the adjustment knob is not properly tightened. The clamp and jaw covers have also been revised to allow for more secure engagement on tubes as small as 22mm which would include most dropper posts and some of the internal parts have been revised to be stronger or to allow smoother operation.

Freestanding or mounted: The Park PCS10.3 is a free-standing dual legged tripod stand having contact with the ground through the main upright tube and the two fold-out legs that form a triangle on the ground. Each contact point has a durable foot and the three feet form a triangle 920 mm x 920 mm x 1210 mm in size for excellent stability.

How does it hold the bike: Nylon lined jaws clamp to your bike frame, seat tube, fork steerer or other tube using a threaded adjuster that has a neat winding handle on it that also doubles as the cam actuator for speedy clamping. Once adjusted, opening and closing the cam can be done with one hand while you support the bike with the other. Even when not adjusted properly, it’s still a one-handed operation to adjust and clamp using one hand thanks to the nifty winding handle. The clamp rotates 360° allowing you to tilt your bike as required or quickly swap between clamping a horizontal tube such as a top tube, to clamping a vertically oriented seatpost. With a clamping range from 22mm to 76mm there isn’t much this clamp can’t hold and unusual shaped tubes or sensitive components aren’t a problem since you have the ability to adjust the clamp pressure. There’s even a rubber saddle pad that allows bikes to be hung by the saddle for quick adjustment or storage.

Weight capacity: The PCS10.3 is rated to hold a bike up to 36kg as long as the weight is below the clamp and centred over the legs to prevent tipping.

Working height range: The quick-release lever allows height adjustment of the clamp from 990 mm to 1450 mm giving you the ability to safely work on your bikes at the right height. The quick-release makes it quick and easy to make adjustments on the go so you can raise the bike when you’re working on the bottom bracket or lower it back down to replace a headset.

Materials: The PCS-10.3 stand uses teardrop-shaped steel tubing and circular steel tubing leg supports with a durable, textured powder coat finish. The tubes are teardrop-shaped for added strength which also ensures precise positioning during use and when folding and unfolding. The quick-release mechanisms are made from aluminium for strength and weight savings. The top tube internals and other fittings are made from a super-strong glass-filled nylon composite which results in an ultra-smooth rotation and secure positioning.

Foldable: Yes, the PCS-10.3 folds down quickly and easily and can be reduced to 1140 mm x 370 mm for transport or storage
