Description

These lightweight and low-profile packs are perfect for those rides where you need to take more than just a water bottle. The packs have a dedicated hydration compartment and come with either a 2.5 or 3L Hydrapak reservoir included. The Airscape back panel uses air mesh-covered foam with a centre air channel for excellent ventilation, and the Biostretch harness is lightweight and ventilated and has rolled soft edges that contour to the shoulder for comfort and stability. The sternum strap has a magnetic attachment to make hose management a breeze, and there is a light attachment to attach a rear light if you need to commute home in the dark.

Who's this item for: The Kitsuma is the Women's version of this pack and has female-specific sizing and fit. Also, check out the Katari for the 'Men's' model for a more general fit with some other colour choices.

Strap Style: The pack uses Osprey's Biostretch Harness which are ridged airmesh straps with soft rolled edges for breathability and comfort.

Materials: 100D nylon main body with a 600D polyester bottom.

Hydration bladder capacity / Bladder style / Valve style:
  • Available in 2.5, and 3L bladder options.
  • The Osprey Hydraulics reservoirs are made by Hydrapak so they are among the best you can get. The reservoir seals by folding over the top and sliding on the slide seal. This creates a reliable watertight seal but also makes it easy to open the top right out when filling or cleaning the bladder.
  • The Blaster bite valve provides fast water flow and can be locked off with a 1/4 twist switch.
Helmet carry: No, these packs do not have that feature.

Internal organiser pockets: The Kitsuma 7 features a vertical zip compartment on the front with tool organisation. The Kitsuma 3 doesn't have much in the way of internal organisation.

Dimensions and Weight:
  • Kitsuma 3: 40H X 18.0W X 13D CM - 3L Volume - 240g
  • Kitsuma 7: 44H X 17.0W X 14.5D CM - 7L Volume - 350g
Pros: Lightweight, low-profile pack for carrying water and small essentials.

Cons: Doesn't offer as much internal organisation or storage compared to some other options out there.
