The ORTLIEB Frame-Pack allows you to exploit your bike frame to create valuable stowage. Thanks to its lower center of gravity below your top tube, the Frame-Pack makes for an ideal stowage location for heavy gear such as tools, camping stoves and food supplies.

The proven, waterproof nylon fabric and the waterproof Tizip zipper (updated version) ensure that your things remain absolutely dry even in the most inclement of weather. Mounting the Frame-Pack with the ultra-strong hook and loop straps to the top tube, seat tube and down tube is a snap. The Frame-Pack is suitable for mounting on carbon frames and available in a 4-liter size and a 6-liter size – depending on the size of your bike frame.

Care and Usage Instructions

• Wipe clean with a damp cloth or clean with warm water and a mild soap solution. Remove heavier soiling carefully using a soft brush and gall soap.
• Allow the bag to dry completely before storage.
• To achieve protection class IP67 (6 = dust-tight, 7 = protected against temporary immersion up to 1 m for 30 minutes), the zipper must be fully closed.
• Keep free of coarse dirt.
• Keep clean and clean in the same way as the fabric, as dirt particles—especially between the zipper teeth—can accumulate and impair the sealing lip's function and the zipper's waterproof performance.
• Proper lubrication before use is essential for reliable operation.
• Do not store the bag rolled up or folded, as this may cause the coating to crack.
• For maintenance, use the original TIZIP® lubricant or a comparable product and follow the manufacturer's instructions.
• Store protected from UV radiation to prevent the material from fading.
• Reproofing is not necessary. The fabrics have a waterproof coating and therefore do not require any additional chemical treatment.
• Operate the slider carefully. Pulling it at an angle may impair the zipper's waterproof performance or functionality.
• Avoid overstretching the insertion and end sections. Do not force the two sides of the zipper apart.
• Always close the zipper so that the slider is correctly seated in the end stop to ensure full waterproof performance.
