Sutro Lite Sunglasses

I was hunting glasses for commuting in evenings/early mornings, and for trails to keep out dust and bugs. These are nice and light, don't move or fall and aren't ridiculously huge and square, as most current designs are. The lens does noticably improve contrast on the trail helping spot obstacles etc. So I like them overall. Fit well on my larger face and head.

We often ride early or late in FNQ to avoid the heat of the day, and in the rainforest at these times, I think I'd still prefer a clear lens, for better visibility. During the day they are great. It was impossible to find anywhere selling these frames with a clear lens, or even the slightly lighter tinted "Trail" lens - including local Oakley shop and Oakley online. Would be nice if you could add extra lenses if you'd like at time of purchase, or they just threw in a clear lens with all glasses sold at this price..

I was really impressed with the Prizm Trail Torch lens in the Sutro Lite, excellent definition in dappled light conditions which was the reason I purchased these glasses. I was concerned that they may not have provided enough protection in full sun but that was not a problem. I've had Oakleys before and had no issues with fit of the Sutros , not tight or bouncing around in the rough stuff either, have had no problem so far with ventilation/fogging which is great. I like the fact that although big is the trend with mtb glasses these days the Oakleys aren't ridiculous like a lot of other brands- I don't mind " Daft Punks" music but I don't want to look like em thanks !
