Description

Positioning itself between the Assegai and the Shorty in the Maxxis gravity range, the third generation High Roller combines an open centre tread pattern with large, well supported side knobs to withstand extreme cornering forces.

It's a hybrid tread design that provides the soil penetration of a wet weather mid-spike while retaining the cornering control and hard surface traction of a dry conditions tyre. The High Roller III was developed for the demands of modern downhill and has already claimed a win at Mont Sainte Anne under Jackson Goldstone.

Over the last decade, World Cup Downhill racing has seen an evolution to steeper, faster, and gnarlier tracks and highly dedicated athletes pushing the boundaries of their bodies and their equipment more than ever before. With those higher demands, tyres have been pushed to their limits…until now.

Featuring the all-new DH casing

  • Progressive casing stiffness that allows pressure to be set for performance versus sidewall stability or rim strike prevention
  • Allows lower pressures (2-3 psi less than previous gen DH casing) which results in slower tyre rebound and more planted, damped feel
  • Improved puncture protection
  • Comparable weight to previous DH casing
  • Dual ply 120 TPI casing
  • MaxxGrip rubber compound
  • Tubeless ready
