Description

The IXS Flow Evo + Elbow Pads super thin, light and comfortable elbow protectors. Made in conjunction with mountain bike legend Hans Rey, the pads are super compact to fit any backpack and include the integrated Xmatter padding concept, providing high impact absorption and protection, while the Flow Evo+ introduces exchangeable padding and the structurally improved AeroMesh, offering a higher level of comfort and structural strength.

Features:

  • Openings for easy pad removal.
  • Xmatter pads feature flexible Viscoelastic polymer that absorbs forces upon impact without hindering range of motion.
  • LoopLock closures and Silicon stoppers keep the pads in place.
  • Light, moisture-wicking, breathable, and anti-bacterial AeroMesh offer added structural strength and a high level of comfort.

    IXS Flow Evo + Elbow & Knee Pads are great for an old bloke to stay safe

    I recently (Jan 2024) bought a new set of both Elbow & Knee Pads to replace same items I last bought in December 2020, so they have lasted bit over 3 years of MTB riding at least once or sometimes twice a week.

    Now 3 years later & older, now 58 yo, I am shrinking a bit in arms & legs, so dropped a size for each item that are currently quite neat fits but I know they will stretch over time.

    I do a variety of rides on road hill climbs, firetrails & single MTB track - & always wear them on the latter two terrains just so I can go hard.

    After Xmas I came off (OTB) on a super steep rutted & curving firetrail descent I had not ridden before, & can honestly say the IXS Flow Evo + Elbow & Knee Pads saved me from some ugly scars - it was a spectacular stack!

    Comfy and don’t move

    Have the knee pads and loved them so thought I’d get the elbow pads too. No regrets. Fit me perfectly. Tight enough the don’t slip but not tight enough they are uncomfortable. Only wear for shuttles but have worn them for 6 hours at bright no dramas
