Optimised for 160 to 180mm of travel with genuine Kashima Coat, plus the Glidecore air spring reducing friction and bind substantially, the 38 sets the benchmark for single crown confidence, performance and durability.

• Support Without Harshness - GRIP X2 is the most tunable, supportive and smoothest descent-focused damper ever created by FOX. Sit higher in the travel, keep tyres glued to the ground and corner with increased traction, all while reducing overall rider fatigue
• Less Bind. Full Control - The seamlessly compliant FLOAT Glidecore air spring reduces friction and bind by moving with the fork under dynamic load. Large cross-section O-rings dampen and control this motion while also reducing breakaway friction of the air spring. The result? Smoother suspension action
• High Stiffness. Low Friction - Using the learnings gained from the FOX Podium, we increased bushing overlap by 20mm to push fore-aft stiffness by approximately 9% while reducing friction under load at high speed. The new generative designed arch optimises torsional stiffness even further for steering responsiveness and handling
• Relocated internal bypass channels offer more usable travel by increasing air volume within the lower legs
• Updated bleeders allow for atmospheric pressure equalisation providing more usable travel and better small bump sensitivity
• Kabolt X Bolt-On Thru Axle, single-sided pinch bolt design
• Optional Fox 36/38 Mud Guard with sturdy 4-point direct-mount attachment (sold separately)
