• CORE 3D®: The floating ergonomic core saddle uses unique material properties to reduce pressure and discomfort. As you pedal, your weight shifts between the left and right sit bones, while the saddle adapts to the pelvis with every pedal stroke for increased comfort.
• Innovative Infinergy®: BASF’s innovative Infinergy® material provides suspension and damping for a more comfortable ride. The elastic saddle core supports natural pelvic movements with every pedal stroke, absorbs road shocks and helps reduce strain on the lower back. Made from thousands of foam particles, the Ergon Core quickly returns to its original shape when pressure is released, even under continuous load.
• Twin Shell Technology: The revolutionary CORE 3D® saddle construction uses two shells to provide greater comfort. The lower, stiffer shell supports the majority of the rider’s weight, while the upper flexible shell supports the cushioning and sitting surface. Between the two shells, the floating ergonomic Infinergy® core isolates road shocks, dampens vibrations, supports natural pelvic movement and helps reduce pressure on the sit bones.
• Twin Shell and Inner Core Damper: The high-performance elastomer damper decouples the two saddle shells, allowing the saddle to follow natural pedalling movements in all three directions. Uneven riding surfaces and vibrations are efficiently filtered out by the CORE 3D® construction.
• Orthopedic Foam: The padding uses supportive orthopedic comfort foam designed for fitness bikes, e-bikes and touring bikes. The foam provides cushioning without collapsing under load, while specific gel pad inserts add further comfort beneath the sitting area. The saddle can be used without cycling shorts if preferred.
• Durable Microfiber Cover: A robust microfiber cover helps prevent abrasions and maintains the durability of the saddle.
