Description

The performance of your shock is directly related to the quality of your spring. VALT is a lightweight coil spring that offers a significant weight reduction over standard steel springs. Designed to be as light as possible without sacrificing action or durability, the high-quality steel in VALT allows for less material to be used in the coils. Riders can enjoy the performance benefit and consistency without the weight penalty. VALT's inner diameter is 36.5mm (1.43in)

Who's this item for: Riders after a lightweight coil

Compatibility: Fits all Cane Creek Coil Shocks, as well as Manitou, Marzocchi, XFusion, ELKA/MRP, BOS, and DSP. Fox Racing coil shocks will also pair with the VALT springs but require a spring clip adapter.

    Lighter than the standard Fox and fits the DHX2 without an adaptor. Has brought my shock weight from a kilo down 800g. Seems to be a little stiffer than the Fox. 6 clicks less preload.

    Springy

    This spring is far too powerful to put in a packet of peanuts, it can take an eye out (Lenny!) But it does work well on my bike.

    Worthwhile weight saving

    In 2.25x450 size the measured weight saving was 65g. Worthwhile for only $80 spend mtbd is the cheapest!
