Description

A Threadless, no tap install option that lets you store the EDC V2 Tool inside your stem/steerer tube without threading your steerer tube. The Threadless Carrier replaces your star nut and lets you preload your headset with a bolt, while also creating a space for the EDC Tool. Easy to install in less than 10 minutes.

This is the carrier only. The EDC V2 Tool is sold separately HERE.

Who's this item for: Riders that don't want to have to tap a thread on their steerer tube in order to install the EDC Tool.

Tool Compatibility: Compatible with EDC V2 Tool only (You must use the small EDC V2 Storage Capsule with the Threadless Carrier.) The tyre plug and bacon strips fit within the small storage capsule.

Chain pliers are not compatible with the threadless carrier setup. The EDC Threadless Carrier is NOT compatible with V1 EDC Tools (Green Multi-Tool)

Incompatible forks: Fox 38 with oval steerer (will need to tap a thread in the steerer and use the standard EDC installation), RockShox 35 Forks (Gold, Silver etc), Giant Overdrive 2 Forks. Cannondale Lefty Forks. Carbon Steerers

Steerer Tube Length: Most forks are compatible, except for a small number of forks with very short steerer tubes. For the following cases, your fork steerer tube length must meet the minimum length requirement.

  • Fox except Fox 38 with oval steerer = 190mm min
  • RockShox Forks = 220mm min
  • All other compatible forks = 190mm min

Measure from the underside of your fork crown to the top of your spacer stack, or top of your stem if you are not running any spacers above your stem.

Extremely well thought out design..

by

A much better option than the Gen 1 version..Does away with having to tap / thread the steerer tube with the added bonus of scraping the star nut..Extremely well thought out design that perfectly integrates with the bike..

The Best On-board Tool Kit Option..

by

Fantastic piece of kit, does away with having to thread the steerer etc...
Combining with the OneUp V2 Tool System gives you most of the tools required for a trail side fix. The system also allows you to customise your carry essentials, tyre plug, Co2 bulb, patches, links etc...Highly recommended.
