I bought these as an upgrade for my 8yo daughters 24-inch mtb. They were compatible with the existing mechanical 6 bolt 160mm disc. They are a huge improvement over the mechanical disc brakes. I can't recommend more. I now have these on my wife's mtb and they're very good.

great bang for buck.

Exceptional value for money, definitely not the lightest or top performing brakes ever, but for the price they're hard to beat. Would suit a gentle commuter, or kids/teenagers bike for sure. The build quality is great.
