Description

The Shimano Deore FC-M5100 is a 2 piece crank that is compatible with both 1x11 and 1x10 drivetrains. The chainring mounts via 4 bolts with a 96mm BCD (bolt circle diameter) and the 178.5mm Q-factor and 52mm chainline is compatible with both 142mm or 148mm (Boost) rear hub spacing.

Who's this item for: These cranks are a great choice for riders with 10 or 11-speed drivetrains that want a new set of cranks with up to date spec that will suit most bikes.

Spindle Size: These cranks use Shimano's standard 24mm spindle.

Chainring: 4 bolt, 96mm BCD, 30t/32t.

Crank arm length: Available in 170mm only

Chainline: 52mm chainline for compatibility with Boost and non-Boost frames.

Materials: Anodised aluminium crank arms, plated steel spindle, painted steel chainring.

Pros: 96mm BCD chainring is pretty well established so there will be plenty of aftermarket options available.

    Deore magic...

    I love the Shimano Deore components for my every day MTB...Deore XT for the competition MTB. These cranks are a fabulous and they're solid on hill climbs. 5 Stars.!!!

    Upgraded 32T Shimano Deore Crankset MTB

    What an awesome upgrade from a 30T all in one system!

    This 32T two piece crankset was an excellent choice, now I have a crank that I can easily upgrade the chainring and I have more gears at the top end

    increasing the overall speed.

    And Shimano Deore runs smoothly with existing namesake components.

    The quality and build is impressive.

    Inexpensive 1x upgrade option for my hardtail

    I needed a nice set of cranks for my 1x upgrade as I move away from a square taper bottom bracket. This combined with the Shimano BB does the trick for a reasonable price.

    Was looking for a cheapish crankset for my second bike. Found it hard to find 170mm length or shorter and these came up. They are great and include the chainring (win). A little heavier than the hollow SLX or XT versions but OK. Work fine & look great.
