Descend Knee Pad

The Cleanskin Descend Kneepads ride the line between comfort and protection with a CE level 1 molded knee protector surrounded by closed-cell foam for added protection.

Who's it for:

These pads are suitable for any rider who wants to prioritise protection while still being able to pedal.  Pure DH riders may want to look at a heavier-duty pad, though.

Pad:

The pad is made from a closed cell foam that softens with body heat and is shaped to move with the knee during pedaling action.

Fabric:

Covering the knee is a highly abrasion-resistant fabric.  Round the back is a breathable stretch mesh to help with temperature on control. The rest of the sleeve is made up of a 4-way stretch fabric to make sure the sleeve fits comfortably and moves with each pedal.

Weight: 372g (Size L)

Pros: Removable pads for washing.  Close to the best protection in a pair of pads that are still comfortable to pedal in.

Cons: Sizing is crucial. If you don't get it right they'll tend to slide down if they're too big or be too uncomfortable if they're too small.
