Description

The GSC-1 brush makes short work out of cleaning your cassette!

Your cassette is the hardest part of your bike to clean. The Park GSC-1 Gear Clean Cassette Brush is specifically designed to make it an easy task. The Brush features tough nylon bristles on one end and is curved on the other. The curved end utilises teeth which will pull dirt out from between the gears. Perfect for anyone who enjoys a clean bike.

Features:

  • Curved to reach in between gears.
  • Tough nylon bristles work perfectly on derailleur and chain.
  • Perfect for other hard to reach spots.

Design means that the tooth cleaner can be difficult to get into a 12-speed cassette.

    Nope

Expensive isn't always best or most practical.

I tour a bit so it's size is what got me first. Then the stiffness and width of the bristles next caught my eye.

Nope, it's fairly useless and the toothed cassette cleaning side is too thick to fit between each individual gear.

Yes the bristles are stiff and have a limited use (that's the only reason I gave it two stars not one) but it's not worth it.

I'll go back to one of the cheaper "drivetrain multi cleaning tools" for the workshop and use what I've always used while touring.

A small flat blade screwdriver and rag.

    Always sceptical about these brushes

Always sceptical about these brushes until I tried one of my son's. They work well with cleaning cassettes.
