Game changer on hardtail

Game changer for anybody riding a trail hardtail on super rocky trails.
The Huck Norris is super easy to install, took me literally 10mins!
Most importantly it solves the difficult balance of keeping the pressure low (15psi on a Maxxis High Roller II 2.8) for the technical climbs while being able to go hard downhill.
I am thinking of putting one in my rear XC wheel/tyre (Conti Race king 2.2) to avoid pinch flat.

They work, they're cheap, they're light

I've been using these for several weeks now on Spank 345's with a Maxxis Assegai/Aggressor 2.5 WT EXO F/R combo and they seem to work a treat. Enables me to run low pressure without the worry of sidewall damage from big hits. Went with these over cushcore etc as they're half the weight and cost and do the job well. Very easy to install too.

C/Huck Norris

Huck Norris? Damn, Chuck Norris! Lost count of how many rocks I've been roundhousing with these bad boys.
But real talk, these are great for the weight. Easy to fit/seat the tyre, good traction, zero rim dinging noise & a feeling of a small amount extra sidewall support. Solid product!

The product was easy to insert and I noticed an immediate positive difference because I was able to reduce tyre presssure by 3psi. Therefore more grip and conformity, to the trail and improved ride characteristics. In fact it was too reactive on my usual psi so I had to reduce pressure to reduce bounce. Haven't tested the rim saving quality yet, thankfully, but if it does save the rim, increase puncture resistance, as well as having already improved the ride characteristices, it's a real winner. No obvious weight issues, either

The Huck Norris rim protectors

The Huck Norris rim protectors seem to do as advertised. If you have expensive rims some insurance to help protect them is a must. I Do all my riding on unforgiving rocks and soft dirt pebbled surfaces. 1- Huck Norris protects your rims from hard knocks. 2- You can ride lower Tyre pressure giving you extra grip on unforgiving surfaces. 3- I like this. You don't need an air compressor to inflate your Tyre's 4- You wont even notice the Huck Norris is inside your Tyre's.

So far so good!

Have not noticed the additional weight after the first couple of rides getting used to it. Definitely feels like it offers better protection and has dampened a lot of the pinging noise I used to get when hitting square edged tree roots etc when the rim used to bottom out. Haven't opened the tyre up yet to see if it sucks up too much sealant. Might go for the DH version which was released just after I bought this one.
