Foam Star Child Seat - Yellow

Great product for what it is.

Its lighter and cheaper than the more robust childrens seats, so will never be as durable.

We have used it for two children (1.5 - 3 years) with great results. Seats them comfortably and is easy to put on or change between bikes.

Keeps an eye on the straps, as they can come loose, but we have been very satisfied.

Have only had a chance to use it once so far and not quite as great as i expected. The product is great but the straps were a big let down, in my opinion. No matter how i tried to buckle them, the top strap kept slipping when my son was sitting on it, which resulted in the weight bearing on the other 2 straps (top tube and down tube). These straps were also slipping as a result of it.

In the end after about 5 mins into the ride on firetrails with some small bumps, the seat sagged enough that the left and right pieces where the feet go into got shredded against my front tyre.

If they used better quality straps (and maybe even clip buckles!), it would likely hold up better. Now i can't return it as its shown obvious signs of use, and i don't feel confident bringing my son on it onto firetrails, let alone singletracks. Very disappointed, as my son really enjoyed the ride while it lasted.
