Description

Shimano has taken their already successful Ice-Technologies Freeza brake rotors and made them even better. Lighter weights across all four sizes with improved heat dissipation. These rotors offer consistent, fade-free braking performance on any terrain.

Who's this item for: Riders under any discipline. Awesome options for XC, Trail, Enduro and DH riders after high end Centerlock mounting rotor.

Mounting standard: Shimano Centerlock.

Materials: Stainless steel and aluminium.

Brake pad compatibility: You can use either metal (sintered) or resin (organic) brake pads on these rotors.

Stand out features: The 'stainless steel - aluminium - stainless steel' floating rotor construction dissipates heat very well. In intensive tests the 203 and 180mm discs have seen improvements of heat dissipation of up to 20C over the previous Ice Technologies Freeza discs.

Dimensions / weight:
  • 203mm, 164g
  • 180mm, 132g
  • 160mm, 109g
  • 140mm, 88g
What's in the box: One Shimano XT RT-MT800 brake rotor and an lock ring.

Pros: Consistent braking performance. Excellent heat dissipation. Lightweight and stiff.

Cons: Not compatible with 6-bolt hubs. If you don't have Centerlock hubs you can't run these rotors.

    S%#p me dead 👍

Got this in the mail the day after I had a serious crash and scored a grade 3 separated shoulder (couldnt pull up in time - break fade) Ive since had fitted onto my DS and managed to ride up and down my driveway (while in shoulder recovery mode) its looks RAD and stops me dead (not in a bad way) about 10000X the stock rotors that were on the bike so in short a) they are cool b) they work c) if I could go back in time Id get these on the day I left the shop with my new bike
