PC-X01 Eagle Hollow Pin 12 Speed Chain - Silver - Inc Powerlock

The humble bicycle chain isn't normally something that a lot of people spend a lot of time thinking about. The Sram Eagle chain, however, is worth it!

To create a chain that would fit onto the huge Eagle cassette with 12 cogs where previously there was 11 is a major feat in itself. To do this SRAM had to go back to the drawing board and come up with some groundbreaking new designs.

Every plate of the chain has been radiused, with no more sharp edges and no chamfers resulting in a huge reduction in noise, friction and wear and tear on chainrings and cogs.

The power lock was completely revised with Flow Link technology to guide the chain better while increasing longevity. The pins on the chain now sit flush with the outer plate so there is less for the chain to snag on, again reducing friction and wear.

A new technology that SRAM have labelled Har Chrome means the eagle chain is the quietest, strongest and most wear-resistant chain in the world.
