Description

A 12-speed cassette with a difference, this NX Eagle cassette is compatible with a standard 8, 9, and 10 speed splined hub body so any wheel. So no need to upgrade your hub body to the XD driver required with other Eagle systems (GX and up). Compatible with any 12 speed SRAM Eagle setup, this cassette has a wide 11-50T range so you can ride anywhere with optimised gear steps across the entire range. Whilst it is not the lightest cassette on the market, it was designed to tackle the heavy-duty demands of general trail shredders and is designed to withstand the increased demands of E-MTB's.

    It's a cassette, it goes round and around.

    Shifts quite well, makes the back wheel go around.

    MishMash for the win!

    Yes, there is a 12sp HG option, and this is it. Not light, and it's very hard on soft alloy freehub splines, so get a steel body for your hub and continue saving money on spares. While it doesn't have the same range as the Microspline or XD cassettes, I've ridden various terrain with these and a 32t chainring and not had any issue with the cassettes, which last really well provided you keep an eye on your chain wear.

    Top Product for either an upgrade or a replacement

    I bought this to replace a worn PG-1230 12 that originally came as part of a kit to upgrade from 2 x 10 speed Shimano to 1 x 12 SRAM. Easy to install and top quality. Gear changes are smooth right across the full range.
