Description

The DUB Preload adjusters can be quite finnicky, easily lost, and if you install it improperly, easily broken.

This kit is for those who have done just that, and require a new one.

    Does what it's supposed to do

    The original on my crankset broke, I think these are a bit flimsy to start with. Luckily a replacement was cheap and easy to source. Thanks MTB Direct!

    Original one snapped: at least the replacement is inexpensive!

    Despite never tightening the original preload adjuster any tighter than having the two halves just touch, after a few adjustments the brittle plastic broke. This restored my bike to fully functional once again. I think it might have been a dud piece of plastic because we have several DUB cranks in the house and none of the others have broken.

    It does what it says but it’s pretty flimsy. I didn’t want to spend the big bucks on the metal alternative.

    Oops!

    Keep one in the toolkit for when you over tighten the little pinch bolt and crack yours...apparently.
