The TRP Quadiem Disc Brake provides the exact same world cup winning performance as the G-Spec but with a more affordable price tag due to it's painted finish. With impressive and predictable control and incredible one finger stopping power, it's no wonder they are a world cup winning brake.
Tested on world cup circuit trails which are known for being technical, fast and steep, the Quadiem Disc Brake handled them all with ease. They feature a stylish dimpled and drilled lever designed by Aaron Gwinn, and a finned CNC'd caliper for better cooling. If you are looking for serious stopping power, predictability and world cup level performance, then the TRP Quadiem Disc Brake is for you.
The V2 models incorporate most of the changes made to the new DH-R EVO brakes such as the new ergonomic lever made from cast aluminium and a forged/CNC'd caliper. Both of which have been given a matte black finish. The V2's also receive a new and stiffer 5.0 mm hose for easier internal routing and better transfer of hydraulic power.
Who is this item for: Designed to be used primarily for Downhill, but would also be at home on an Enduro rig.
How many pistons: These are 4 Piston brakes for ultimate stopping power.
Material: The lever is made from cast aluminium and the calipers feature a forged and CNC'd construction. The pistons feature a hybrid construction of composite ceramic and stainless steel for improved heat dissipation.
Adjustment: They feature tool-free indexed reach adjustment.
Brake Type/Fluid: All TRP hydraulic brakes take Mineral Oil.
Which Pads: They ship with Metallic brake pads but Resin options are available. Shimano D series pads will also fit perfectly.
Mount: They come with a 22.2mm hinged handlebar clamp. They are I-Spec b, I-Spec ll (XT and XTR only) or matchmaker compatible with the correct TRP adapter to match.
Hose Length: The front is 1000mm long, the rear is 1900mm but they can be trimmed to suit.
Weight: They weigh approximately 323gm (front).
