Description

The SH-AM902 SPD Shoes are Shimano's flagship Downhill and Enduro SPD shoe. With features such as a moulded toe cap, asymmetrically raised and padded ankle collar, and debris protecting lace shield, it will not only keep you glued to the pedals but will also keep your feet safe. Shimano's rubber sole offers excellent grip even when you are not clipped in and the speed lacing system makes it quick and easy to secure them. If you love bombing big hills, these are the shoes for you.

Who's It For: Perfect for DH or Enduro riders looking for a protective SPD pedal.

Pedal Interface: These are clip-in shoes.

Closure: The AM902 feature Shimanos speed lacing system which allows for quick and secure adjustments. This is aided by a single velcro strap for extra security, as well as a lace shield to prevent dirt or debris from entering the shoe.

Upper Materials: The upper is made from synthetic leather and mesh. These materials breath well and absorb less water. This means better comfort for you and less stinky shoes.

Sole Materials: Made from Shimano's original rubber compound with EVA. The AM902 also feature upto 18mm of expanded rearward cleat adjustment for even better bike control.

Sole Type: Features a full tread sole, with extra grip in the toe and heel.

Weight: 418gm for a size 42.

Sizing Guide: Shimano fit pretty true to US sizes.

Last/Width type: Feature Shimano's volume tour last which provides extra volume at the ball of the foot for better comfort.

Pros: Excellent protection and breathability. Speed laces!

Cons: Although they breathe well for a DH shoe, you would probably want something a bit less bulky for trail or XC type riding.
