Star Nut Installation Tool

The threaded punch gets screwed into your star nut and positioned over the fork steerer. The aluminium 'handle' slips over the punch giving you somewhere stable and not-so-dangerous to hold the steerer while you bash it with a big hammer. The handle sitting squarely on top of your steerer ensures that the punch and therefore the star nut goes-in square and is seated to the correct depth.
