The Ride Concepts Flume combines advanced off-road footwear technology with bike-specific performance to offer a trail flat shoe that’s designed to outlast the biggest epics.

The Cordura upper is breathable and lightweight, but also trail-tough and protective with a stitch-free and fully welded construction. The new adaptable outsole has a supportive pedal contact area featuring their Max Grip rubber for a confident connection with the pedal when charging the trail ahead. Compliant reverse hex traction in the toe and heel makes easier work when hiking becomes necessary.

Pedal Interface: The Flume is specifically designed for use with flat pedals

Closure: A simple secure lace closure allows you to custom tube your pressure and an elasticised keeper on top of the tongue allows you to safely store your laces from harm's way.

Upper Materials: The outer of the upper is a lightweight Cordura mesh fabric making it durable and breathable and the padded mesh lining is anti-bacterial to control Odour. TPU inserts protect your toes and heel and there is a TPU mudguard along the sides and an abrasion cap on the toe. The fully gusseted tongue keeps dirt and debris out. The bonded and welded construction provides a seam-free fit for comfort and durability.

Sole Materials: These feature RC's Max Grip tacky rubber outsole with positive hex on the reinforced pedal platform and negative hexagonal pattern on the heel and toe for added traction off the bike as well as the wrap-around tread on the toe and heel.

Sole Type: The Flume features an EVA midsole for support and shock absorption with D3O High Impact Zone Technology to absorb impact and reduce fatigue. This is covered with the Max Grip Hex tread giving tailored traction to your pedal area and additional toe and heel traction for off-the-bike traction, including toe and heel tread wrap for added traction and durability.
