Turbine R 30mm Rear Wheel

When Race Face set about designing the Turbine R Wheel, they listed in order what they felt was important in a wheel and built something to meet those requirements. With the top 3 priorities being Durability, Stiffness, and Serviceability, the Turbine R can handle almost anything you can throw at it.

The wheel features an asymmetric design offsetting the placement of the spoke nipples by 3mm. This design mixed with the purpose-built Vault hub leads to a wheel with equally balanced spoke tension throughout and a single spoke size for ease of replacement.

Race Face Vault Rear Hub Specifications:

Materials: Made from Aluminum.

Engagement: Almost instantaneous 3 degree engagement. This comes from the use of 6 double tooth pawls (3 engage at a time) for 120 points of engagement. The pawls also all feature low drag springs to ensure low coast drag when not engaged.

Spoke hole count: 28 hole spoke count.

Convertibility: The rear Vault hubs can be converted between HG, XD and Microspline freehub standards easily.

Bearing style / amount: Oversized 6902 bearings for better durability.

Tubeless: Yes, the rims are tubeless ready and even come with a tubeless rim strip and valve installed.

Rim Dimensions: The rim height is 20mm and the internal width is 30mm.

Materials: Made with 6069 Alloy, for extra strength and durability.
