Description
Gravel riders rejoice, for there is a bar tape designed just for you. A bar tape that stays on the bars in the foulest of weather, that will keep your hands where you want them through the roughest terrain, and in the poorest of conditions and laugh in the face of the elements.
The coast bar tape from PNW has been designed with gravel riders in mind and provides ample vibration damping without sacrificing bar feel thanks to its shock-absorbing material. The anti-slip surface and compression moulded profile keep your hands from slipping and the adhesive backing helps keep the tape positioned on your bars even in continued use in rough terrain and poor conditions.
Who's this item for: Riders of drop-bar and multi-position handlebars looking for a multi-purpose bar tape that won't let them down when the going gets rough, and stays rough.
Mounting style: Bar tape is wrapped around the bars and can be overlapped a little or a lot to create a different result.
Material: Although PNW don't specify, it looks like Polyurethane closed-cell foam perhaps with a Silicone blend.
Pattern: The Coast bar tape features a compression moulded PNW logo pattern.
Features: 6mm wide double-sided strip adhesive on the underside keeps the bar tape positioned
Soft / firm: The Coast bar tape is a sporty 2.4mm thick giving an equal blend of 'squish' and bar feel.
End caps: Matte black anodised press-in bar ends are provided.
Length: 2000mm total length per side.
Diameter: The 30mm wide tape, with 2.4mm thickness can be overlapped to form a thicker grip area or spread out to provide a sharper bar feel.
