Description

With the Flow Evo+ knee guard, iXS provides super thin, light and comfortable knee protectors. Developed with mountain bike legend Hans Rey, pads are comfortable enough to pedal in all day and are are super compact to fit any backpack. The integrated Xmatter padding concept provides high impact absorption and protection. The Flow Evo+ introduces product properties like exchangeable padding and structurally improved, latest generation AeroMesh offering a higher level of comfort and structural strength.

Note: Please take care as to not pull the knee pads up your leg from the top of the pads as you would a pair of socks. The material is not designed for this and may cause tears. Damage to the knee pads of this nature may not be covered by the manufacturer warranty. We recommend pulling up knee pads from the top and bottom of the pad with care, in a way that avoids stretching the mesh or damaging the stitching.

    Comfortable and good protection

    This is my second pair. I wore the others out after 2 years of solid use. I've crashed a lot, and these pads have always held in place and looked after my knees. They're comfy enough to wear all day without issue.

    Perfect

    I friggen love these. No other way of putting it. I swear these every ride no matter how big or small that’s how comfy they are. I’ve eaten it on dirt jumps, rock trails, into trees you name it. Maximum protection. My only gripe would be that my pads are still fine, but the material (knee pads holder - technical term I reckon) is slowly getting jnackered and would love to buy replacement. But if push comes to shove I’ll just buy a new pair they are that good and comfy. No need for my to buy the version with the extra strap. Haven’t moved an inch. Had mates not listen and buy other pads and they regret it

    Superb comfort and fit.

    Superb comfort and fit. Much better than other brands I have used. They breath well, stay in place, and provide excellent protection. The only issue is my elbow pad inners are starting to develop a crack on both arms at the mid point laterally. I have always removed the inners for washing, carefully. I will try to order some new inner pads to have so I can replace them. Can not recommend IXS Elbow and Knee Pads highly enough.

    Great comfort. Dubious quality of foam inserts.

    These are really comfortable pads. I have tried a few and found the very soft lining and fabric and shape of these to be the best I have used. Unfortunately the mesh is delicate and I have found is easily cut by branches and twigs but the worst part is that both foam pads cracked/split in two after only a few months use. This is without washing the internal pads. My wive also has a pair and they cracked after the first wash so we thought that might be the issue? Its not, there is something wrong with the foam inserts that IXS use and I am surprised they have not fixed the problem, I have noticed others having this complaint all the way back from now to 2018. 4 stars for comfort and fit. 3 stars for fabric quality. 2 stars as the foam cracks !! Buy at your own risk.

    What Knee Pads?

    First time using knee pads as I prep up for Derby.

    I was dubious about movement, but you don't even know you have these babies on. They stay put, don't rub and don't stink.

    They seem protective enough, but thankfully they are untested for protection so far.
