Description

The Speedframe Pro is a premium open face trail helmet from Fox that has been developed with direct input from Fox sponsored riders. The helmet features a 3 position visor that is goggle friendly.

Other standout features include a Fidlock SNAP helmet buckle, MIPS liner, Dual-density Varizorb EPS for improved impact protection, a removable anti-microbial liner and optimised venting for efficient cooling.

The differences between this and the more affordable models:

  • Speedframe MIPS: Still has a MIPS liner but doesn't include a Fidlock Snap buckle, dual-density EPS, or an anti-bacterial liner.
  • Speedframe (Base Model): Does not have MIPS.

If you'd like to save a few dollars and can live without these features please see the links to the other versions below.

Who's this item for: Trail, All Mountain, and Enduro riders looking for a premium level, well-ventilated helmet that is goggle friendly and provides excellent protection against both low-speed and high-speed impacts.

Construction: Dual-density Varizorb EPS provides a harder, and a softer layer to provide excellent protection against both low-speed, and high-speed impacts.

Rotational liner: This helmet uses a MIPS liner for extra protection from rotational forces.

Straps: The straps use a Fidlock SNAP helmet buckle to provide a quick and secure action, even while wearing gloves.

Retention System: The 360-degree fit system uses a dial to help you fine-tune the fit.

Ventilation: The exact number of vents isn't stated but there are a bunch of nice big vents, including a number on the brow area which will work to channel fresh air through the helmet.

Padding: The XT2 liner has anti-microbial and odour managing properties and is removable and washable if it does eventually get a bit manky.

Weight: 380g (medium)

Pros: A fully featured helmet that offers plenty of adjustment to get the fit just right and should keep your head protected regardless of whether you crash fast or slow.

Cons: An integrated GoPro mount would be a nice addition, but it's hardly a deal-breaker.
