Fly Racing Cypher Knee Guard - Black

The latest incarnation of the Cypher knee guard from Fly Racing has an emphasis on staying light and keeping cool while providing high levels of protection where it counts.

The 4-way stretch mesh sock is both soft and cool and gives a great fit, ensuring that you stay comfortable even on long days in the saddle. FLY Racing’s HDM (High Density Memory) protectors are made of a special blend of viscoelastic foam with memory function allowing for repeat impacts. The protectors have been impact-tested and approved to CE EN1621-1:2012 to ensure a high level of protection.

Internal silicon gripper bands are used at the upper and lower opening of the pads and strategically placed straps at the upper calf muscle and at the thigh help to prevent the pad from slipping down during use.

Protection Style: The Cypher uses Fly Racing's HDM viscoelastic foam for always-flexible protection.

Materials: 4-way stretch mesh and perforated polyester fabric sock with HDM viscoelastic foam pads with abrasion-resistant material cover, silicone grippers and elasticised velcro straps.

Closure or Slip-on: These are slip-on with adjustable straps at the calf and thigh.

Length of knee pad: The Cypher is a knee-only guard, there is no shin protection here.

Protection level: These are lightweight knee guards with intermediate levels of protection.

Removable protective inserts for washing: The inserts are not removable but the knee guards can be hand washed.

Note: Please take care to not pull the knee pads up your leg from the top of the pads as you would a pair of socks. The material is not designed for this and may cause tears. Damage to the knee pads of this nature may not be covered by the manufacturer's warranty. We recommend pulling up knee pads from the top and bottom of the pad with care, in a way that avoids stretching the mesh or damaging the stitching.
