Description

Nobody likes wearing bulky pads. They're uncomfortable, sweaty, and you probably won't want to wear them very often so they won't do you much good. These slip-on elbow sleeves are Dakine's lightest, lowest-profile, and most breathable pad so you won't have to battle with straps, and they'll all but disappear if you wear them under a long sleeve, or 3/4 sleeve jersey. The great thing is that they more than pull their weight in the protection department and they're treated with Polygiene odour control tech so they won't get stanky too quickly.

With perforated DK Impact energy-absorbing foam technology with an Aramid ripstop shell and a pre-curved ergonomic fit these pads will save your skin if/when things go wrong out on the trail.

Who's this item for: These are a great choice for anyone looking for a low-profile elbow pad for any kind of riding.

Protection Style: These are a slip-on soft shell pad. They rely on being sized correctly to work and will be soft and comfortable to wear.

Materials: 100% nylon with an Aramid ripstop shell. Silicone grippers help them to stay in place.

Closure or Slip-on: These are a slip-on style pad so they don't have any straps.

Length of elbow pad: The pads will cover from just above your elbow down to mid-forearm.

Protection level: These pads offer light to moderate protection against impact and abrasion.

Removable protective inserts for washing: No, the pads aren't removable.

Pros: Light breathable design is comfortable and low-profile so you'll be more likely to want to wear them.

Cons: Sizing is crucial. If you don't get it right you'll either feel like they keep falling down if they're too big, or be too constricted if they're too small.

    Sleeves are 👍🏻

Returned M guards for a L in the sleeves. As guards too ridged and tight as I was on the cusp of both sizes. Sleeves have just as much protection with more movement.

Return process was no drama, with money deposited into my acc in specified time.

Get the expensive ones.... You'll thank me later!

Brought these the other day. Went for a ride with them and had a solid stack. Wound up with carpet burn type grazes up my elbows where the guard had moved and burnt on impact. The guard is made of stretchy coarse material similar to Basketball singlets but much more heavy duty. They need soft material on the inside to stop the burns! Left me seriously wondering if it would have been better not to have them on at all to be honest!

    Comfy slimline pads.

First ride out I thought they were a bit tight but better than being loose. Really comfy to ride in and could easily fit under a fitted long sleeve. 2 hour ride and no dramas at all, very happy so far. As for protection I'm not sure and hope not to find out anytime soon.
