Description

Less is more with this 1-litre bike-specific hip pack.

Dakine took their popular Hot Laps 2L Waist Bag and distilled it down to a one-litre version with an ultra-intentional design that features a single deployable water bottle pocket, external straps for pads, one cargo pocket with organisation for tools, a tube, and snacks. Its compact size will stay put through the jankiest tech sections, but its deliberate functionality ensures you’re repair-prepared. For those with a dialled kit, this is the ideal piece for everyday rides.

Features:

  • Limited Lifetime Warranty
  • Breathable air mesh backpanel
  • Deployable side water bottle pocket
  • Internal organization
  • Padded, fleece-lined phone sleeve
  • External attachment straps

Specs:

  • Volume: 1L
  • Dimensions: 17 x 11 x 7cm
  • Weight: 0.2kg

Materials: 100% 450D ripstop recycled polyester (rPET) exterior

Care:

If your Dakine bag gets dirty, Dakine recommends hand washing with mild soap (like Nikwax Tech Wash), cold water and a soft-bristle brush. If hand washing is not going to do the trick, use a front loader washing machine. To ensure your backpack doesn't get tangled, place it inside a pillowcase or mesh bag before washing. Always use cold water, mild soap and run on a gentle cycle. Never bleach your pack. Hang to dry in a warm but shady place, ensuring both inside and out are dry before storing.

    Perfect size really comfy

Great size for tools, snacks, tubes for winter riding in Queensland. Can secure a top to the back or a spare water bottle if needed. I honestly don’t notice it when I’m riding.

Only downside is the max length of the waist band no good for anyone with a 36” or larger waist. I’m 34-36” waist and I max this out.

    Great for the minimalist.

Fantastic build quality and useful features. I have used this with my jacket strapped on underneath, my phone, a small first aid kit, a couple of muesli bars and a small bike tool. You won't fit much more in here it is very small and because of the narrow shape if you put too much in the zips are hard to open and close and the back will start to bulge. This is not a fault of the bag - it is only designed for a very small amount of items inside it.
