Description

Cleanskin Type D Brake Pads will pair perfectly with a range of Shimano 4 piston brakes. They have a steel backplate and come in two compounds: organic and sintered. Organic pads have more initial bite and quieter braking. Perfect for drier riding conditions and lighter riders, however compound choice is very much a personal preference. For any wet weather riding, sintered pads are more of an ideal choice. Sintered - Metallic pads last longer and provide more consistent braking power on those long descents.

    Cleanskin pads

    Fitted resin pads to front brake to give them a try. $45 is way too much to pay for a pair of genuine Shimano brake pads or any bicycle brake pads in my opinion. Cleanskin pads are a good price but unfortunately aren't as affective as Shimano pads and they squeal like crazy. Ice rotors are clean and I roughed up the pads a little but it did not make any difference.
